After having worked many years in the financial sector, I was looking for a new challenge. In 2017, I successfully completed the “Formation Continue Lëtzebuerger Sprooch a Kultur” (the focus lying on Luxembourgish as a foreign language) and after my training, I started carrying out transcription tasks of sociological interviews conducted mainly in Luxembourgish, but also in French, German and English within the research project Sustainable Food Practices at the University of Luxembourg. The topic of the project is perfectly consistent with my conviction that we have to develop sustainable solutions together with the people, that we have to better understand the interactions between society, technology and the environment. Therefore, we have to bring all the concerned parties into conversation, in order to make society aware of the global consequences of our ecological practices. We should not wait until it is too late!
