Team Profile

Anna Caitriona Pax

While pursuing my Bachelor degree in Social Anthropology at the University of Aberdeen, and Master of Anthropology of Food at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS University of London), my passion for sustainable food and its essential role in tackling both environmental and social issues were nurtured and solidified. I have written papers on the topics of sustainable production in the Cairngorms National Park of Scotland, the role of sensory knowledge in food production, and more broadly on the unsustainability and agrarian food crises in the global food system, I am now motivated to be able to contribute as a team member on a research project that has a real-life impact in Luxembourg. I am excited to bring my experience as an anthropologist to the Sustainable Food Practices project and will be working on the analysis and interpretation of qualitative data, in particular in-depth interviews with actors from Luxembourg’s foodscape.
